David Higgins – Minibeasts
David Higgins is Professor of Environmental Humanities at the University of Leeds. His academic research, teaching, and public engagement have focused on British Romanticism and, more recently, literature and environmental crisis. He has also published personal essays on birds and mental health, and is writing a book about loss, hope, and the Eurasian bittern. He grew up in rural Bedfordshire and now lives in Leeds with his partner and two children.
