Meg Bertera-Berwick – The Kailyards
Meg Bertera-Berwick is an American-born writer based in Glasgow. Her work has appeared in Vittles, Radicle, and Potluck Zine, and in 2023, the proposal for her book-in-progress Lang was shortlisted for the Nan Shepherd Prize. Her newsletter, pod by pod (substack.com/podbypod) is published twice-monthly and explores environmental history and gardening at intersections of disability and urban life. She received her PhD in post-colonial criminology from the University of Glasgow in 2019, and has lived in Scotland since 2012.
